Dushanbe, October 28th, 2009. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development became the shareholder of OJSC “Agroinvestbank”, by investing USD 11,5 million (TJS 50,0 million) on October 28th to the capital of the Tajik bank and acquisitioning of 25 % + 1 share of OJSC “Agroinvestbank”.

      On October 28th, 2009 OJSC “Agroinvestbank” received acknowledgement from the largest payment system of the world Visa International about successful end of certification of its own Processing center (In house). The same day the Bank made transfer of service of all payment cards into the given processing and within the next few days will make reconnection of all ATMs and terminals on In house service. Implementation of the processing center of the Bank will allow it to get into next level of service for clients, to higher functional abilities of the cards and ATMs. 

        On August 12, 2009 took place an official ceremony of signing the Equity Investment Agreement between Open Joint Stock Company “Agroinvestbank” and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.   More->>>>

     Special General Meeting of Shareholders of Agroinvestbank was held in the Head Office of OJSC "Agroinvestbank" on March 6, 2009. 76.3 percents of the total amount of voting shares took part on the meeting. Two main questions were discussed on the Special General Meeting of Shareholders of OJSC "Agroinvestbank":

       On the 5th March, 2009, Deputy Chairmen of OJSC “Agroinvestbank” Saidmurodov Ibodullo Habibulloevich and Tagaymurodov Farrukh Golibovich met with the representatives of the Islamic Development Bank, Mr. Robihom Mataron – Senior specialist for the projects, Department of country operations, Mr. Asad Melikov – Specialist for the projects and financial analyst of the Department of country operations, and Mr. Hikmat Aliev – Specialist for country operations.
